Russian deputy chief of military intelligence shot

On Friday, a deputy chief of Russian military intelligence was shot, according to the Associated Press.
The deputy chief was identified as Lt. Gen. Vladimir Alekseyev, and the report said that he had been shot multiple times by an unidentified individual, citing Investigative Committee spokesperson Svetlana Petrenko.
The report said Alekseyev has been hospitalized.
